Run Around Gal xx is a Thoroughbred mare of exceptional quality. This exciting mare is bred for sport, with sire Sword Dance xx (IRE) and dam’s damsire Raja Baba xx both being coveted for breeding for excellent moving, athletic sport horses. She only raced a few times before being purchased as a broodmare by a breeder in Georgia, for whom she produced two stunning foals: a year-end KWPN-NA champion filly by Popeye K and a premium GOV colt by Apiro who is being kept as a stallion prospect.
With huge elastic movement and beautiful conformation and type, she made a splash at her Hanoverian inspection in 2012, where she was not only approved for breeding, but tied the Champion Hanoverian mare at the site with a huge score of 7.33 as well as earning the title of Champion Non-Hanoverian mare after receiving a score of “9” for her head and “8’s” for Neck, Saddle Position, Conformation, and Typiness/Femininity. She is also approved for breeding with OHBS-GOV, where the judges pulled her out of the line up to comment that she is exactly the type of mare they want to see used for breeding. Run Around Gal was featured in the AHS Year Book in 2013 as the example of the Thoroughbred that the registry is looking for. In addition, Run Around Gal was featured in ___ alongside Sappheiros ASH, her 2014 colt by Schwarzenegger (Sion/Calypso II) who thoroughly impressed his inspectors. Noting first his palpable presence, the judges commented on his gorgeous long lines, extraordinary neck, beautiful head, his supple, uphill, engaged movement, and natural suspension, for which they awarded him the title of Champion Colt out of a large and impressive class.
